We are a non-profit organization that operates solely through public donations, this support is what makes our lifesaving work possible. General Donations

General donations provide flexible funding that allows us to respond to the needs of the animals in our care while also supporting the day-to-day operations that make rescue possible.

Your donation may help cover:

  • Veterinary and emergency medical care

  • Food, specialty diets, treats, and milk replacer

  • Litter, pee pads, bedding, carriers, crates, and enrichment

  • Medications and medical supplies

  • Cleaning, laundry, and sanitation supplies

  • Transportation and fuel for veterinary appointments and animal transfers

  • Shelter operating costs, including utilities, garbage removal, building maintenance, and necessary repairs

  • Insurance, licensing, permits, and other required organizational expenses

  • Technology and administrative costs, including website, software, communication, and payment-processing fees

  • Community outreach, education, and adoption promotion

  • Equipment and facility improvements that help us safely care for more animals

  • Unexpected expenses that arise when an animal or the rescue needs immediate support

Rescue needs can change quickly. One month we may need to purchase additional animal supplies, while the next may bring an unexpected emergency, a large intake of animals, or an urgent building repair.

Flexible donations give us the ability to respond when and where the need is greatest. They help keep the lights on, the animals fed, the shelter clean, and the veterinary care available when an animal needs us.

Every donation, whether it pays for a bag of food, a medical bill, a utility payment, or an unexpected repair, helps keep our rescue running and allows us to continue giving animals the safe haven and second chance they deserve.

Veterinary & Emergency Medical Fund

Your donation helps provide the veterinary care rescued animals need to heal, recover, and get a second chance.

Donations to this fund help cover:

  • Routine veterinary care: wellness exams, vaccinations, deworming, and preventative care

  • Spay & neuter: surgeries required before adoption

  • Dental care: dental cleanings, extractions, and treatment for painful dental disease

  • Diagnostics: bloodwork, X-rays, ultrasounds, testing, and other diagnostic procedures

  • Medications: prescription medications, pain management, antibiotics, and other necessary treatments

  • Injury & illness care: treatment for injuries, infections, illnesses, and other medical conditions

  • Major procedures: amputations and other surgeries when medically necessary

  • Emergency care: urgent veterinary visits, emergency procedures, hospitalization, and overnight monitoring when critical care is required

When an animal comes through our doors, we don't always know what they have been through or what medical needs they may have. Your donation helps ensure that when an animal needs care, we can say yes, whether it's a routine vaccine, a painful dental that needs attention, or a life-threatening emergency.

Donations to this fund help cover:

  • Safe housing: x-pens, wire crates, plastic carriers, kennels, and quarantine cages

  • Nutrition: dry and canned food for cats and dogs of all life stages

  • Specialty diets: urinary, allergy, dental, kidney, gastrointestinal, and weight-management foods

  • Orphaned babies: milk replacer and feeding supplies

  • Clean spaces: pee pads, clumping cat litter, litter boxes, and scoops

  • Enrichment: toys and other items that provide mental stimulation, comfort, and play

Donate Food & Supplies

To help keep our animals healthy and comfortable, we strive to keep cats and dogs on consistent, quality diets whenever possible. Sudden changes in food can cause digestive upset, diarrhea, or unnecessary stress, so maintaining familiar, trusted diets helps support healthy digestion, appropriate weight, and overall well-being.

If you would like to donate food, we currently use and recommend the following:

We are always grateful for physical donations that help us care for animals in need. If you have any of the following items, we would be happy to accept them.

  • Unopened dry kibble

  • Opened kibble must be labeled with the brand and flavor if it is not in its original packaging

  • Canned wet food

  • Canned pure pumpkin or pumpkin powder — plain pumpkin only, with no added sugar, spices, or other ingredients

  • Omega-3 fish oil supplements for cats and dogs — preferably pet-specific products, unopened and within their expiry date

  • Pet treats

  • Kitten and puppy milk replacer

  • Specialty diets and prescription foods, when applicable

Clean Linens & Bedding

  • Pillowcases

  • Washable rags and cleaning cloths

Please ensure all donated linens are clean and free of excessive pet hair, stains, or strong odors.
