Volunteer

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of animals?

Join us as a volunteer! To be part of our team, we ask for a commitment of at least one shift every two weeks, but feel free to come in as often as you’d like. You can choose shifts based on your availability, and our friendly team is eager to help you find the perfect role that fits your schedule.

Volunteering at our rescue is a rewarding experience that often involves hands-on cleaning and animal care, which can be physically demanding. Volunteers must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (such as bags of dog food or litter), bend, squat, perform repetitive movements, walk and stand for extended periods, and work in environments that may involve strong odors.

That said, we understand everyone has different abilities, and we do have lighter-duty or alternative tasks available for those who may not be able to perform certain physical activities.

All new volunteers are required to complete 10 hours of shadowed training with experienced team members before working independently.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Individuals under 18 may volunteer only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Our volunteers are essential to keeping our rescue pets happy and healthy while they await their forever homes. With your help, we can reach and support even more animals in need.

We are seeking responsible and passionate individuals to join us!

Right now, we are looking for:

Event Day Volunteers – assist with adoption events, including setup, attendee support, and takedown (as available)

Transport Volunteers – help transport cats to veterinary appointments or events (on-call / as-needed)

Fundraising Volunteers – support fundraising efforts through events, campaigns, and community outreach (on-call / as-needed)

Cleaning Tasks

  • Morning Cleaning & Sanitation – daily cleaning of common areas, plus laundry and dishes

  • Spot Cleaning – quick cleanups throughout the day to maintain hygiene and safety

  • Monthly Deep Cleaning – thorough top-to-bottom cleaning and sanitizing of designated areas

  • Cat Roam Room & Litter Area Cleaners – clean, sanitize, and maintain cat roam rooms and litter areas
